GO

Funk-a-palooza In the words of Jon Favreau’s classic P.C.U. character, “Clinton is playing right here!” Yep, George and his P-Funk mob are headed to town, along with fellow funksters like Cameo, Con Funk Shun and the Mary Jane Girls. Wear comfy shoes—those dudes take their time. March 19, 8 p.m., $46-$112, Planet Hollywood.

Robert Randolph The soul/jam pedal-steel maestro playing eight sets in four nights inside a Vegas casino lounge? That’s so crazy it just might work! March 17-20, 10 p.m. & midnight, Cosmopolitan’s Book & Stage.

Run Away If Oscar Goodman’s waking up early for this, you probably should, too. Join a bunch of costumed characters for Cirque du Soleil’s 10th annual 5K run and 1-mile fun walk. Proceeds go to the host Springs Preserve. March 19, registration begins at 7 a.m., $40 race, $30 walk.

Bryan Callen Best known to many as chapel owner Eddie Palermo in The Hangover, the ex-MADtv comic appears regularly in How I Met Your Mother and just wrapped a movie with Andy Dick. March 17-19, 9:30 p.m. (additional 7:30 show on Saturday), Palms.

Sketch Saturday UNLV’s Marjorie Barrick Museum provides the pencils and paper. Use ’em to sketch out your own versions of the collection. Through December 17, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

SEE

Big Love finale HBO’s polygamist melodrama is overly repetitive (how many speeches about “the principle” has Bill delivered by now?), but if there’s one thing HBO is known for, it’s memorable endings (see: The Sopranos, Six Feet Under, The Larry Sanders Show). March 20, 9 p.m., HBO.

GIVE

Sushi for Japan Help the earthquake- and tsunami-ravaged nation without getting up from the dinner table. Sushisamba inside the Palazzo is offering a Disaster Relief Roll until the end of March—all proceeds go to the Red Cross. $12.

Las Vegas Prom Closet You’re never going to wear that strapless, satin dress again, no matter how cute it looked in high school. Pass it along to a nonprofit that provides free gowns and accessories for teens who can’t afford them. Through March 31, drop off at Jessica McClintock at Fashion Show, 15 percent off purchase with donation.
