Actor and heartthrob Jesse Metcalfe, star of the upcoming TV remake of “Dallas,” “Desperate Housewives” and “John Tucker Must Die,” hosted a party at Gallery in Planet Hollywood on Saturday night to celebrate his new TV role.

The newly engaged Metcalfe, looking sharp in a black suit, arrived at the nightclub with his fiancee Cara Santana on his arm, and the happy couple made their way to a VIP table, where a small group of friends joined them. Metcalfe happily posed for photographs with fans and spent much of the evening kissing, holding hands and dancing closely with Santana.

Before heading over to Gallery, Metcalfe and Santana dined and indulged his sweet tooth at nearby Sugar Factory American Brasserie in the Paris. Dinner included bruschetta, steak frites, chicken and waffles, a Cookie Jar ice cream sundae and espresso.

Santana, donning a silver, sequined vintage dress, and Metcalfe stopped in the adjoining retail store afterward and picked up Sugar Factory’s signature Couture Pops to take home.
