"Within Reach" MP3s

  • Next to You

  • Goodbye Tonight

  • Can't You See

On this full-length debut, Theory of Flight demonstrates why it’s become such a powerful force in so short a time. Filled with pop hooks and yearning melodies engineered by The Killers’ fader-tweaker Mark Needham, Within Reach is as radio-ready a disc as any independent band could hope.

Falling somewhere between Jimmy Eat World’s earnest emo delivery and Plain White T’s annoying catchiness, this Vegas-based sextet doesn’t break any new ground, but that’s what makes Within Reach so mainstream-friendly. Theory has already topped Mix 94.1-FM’s request charts for the song “Not the Only,” while “Can’t You See”—one of the more aggressive tunes on the album—has earned the band a Best Rock nomination in the Hollywood Music in Media Awards.
