Cabo Wabo Cantina Grand Opening

After two years of not being able to drive 55, Sammy Hagar’s Cabo Wabo Cantina will celebrate its birthday with a weeklong party. Starting today through Sunday, the popular Mexican restaurant and bar at Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops is offering guests food and drink specials, entertainment and prizes, including an autographed guitar from Sammy himself.

In celebration of turning 2, guests can enjoy Cabo Wabo’s “3Ts” special -- two tacos, a Tecate and a shot of Cabo Wabo Tequila -- for $12. Cabo Wabo also will toast two years with $2 “Red Rockers” shots. Singers can take Sammy’s personal stage to sing their hearts out at Red Rocker Karaoke for a chance to win $500 on Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

Guests will be rocking out to their favorite Sammy songs as tribute band OU812 takes the stage Friday at 11 p.m. Plus, Friday night guests also have a chance to win the autographed guitar.

Cabo Wabo Cantina combines the laid-back vibe of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, with the excitement of the Strip. Blending coastal Mexican and Tex Mex, the menu offers food and margaritas in one rockin’ venue.
