Two Las Vegas venues have made Billboard’s annual list of the Top 25 Clubs in the U.S. The list, which refers to small music venues, not nightclubs, ranks venues based on attendance between December 2013 and May 2013 reported to Billboard’s ranking service Boxscore.

The Joint at the Hard Rock Hotel placed at No. 11 with an attendance of 86,242 patrons in the six-month span. The House of Blues at Mandalay Bay came in at No. 13 with a six-month attendance of 78,913.

The House of Blues Boston took the top spot on the list with an attendance of 174,224. The bulk of clubs that made the list are owned, operated and/or booked by concert producer Live Nation, which holds the popular House of Blues and Filmore chains of clubs. The Joint is owned and operated by AEG Live.

"We have great local marketers and great local voices in our markets, so when we talk to our social communities, we talk in a very local voice,” House of Blues Entertainment CEO Ron Bension said in a statement. “It's a great combination of acting local but being able to give a national overlay on top."
