Freakling Bros. Trilogy of Terror | October 10, 2013 | 6:46 p.m.

The Freakling Bros. are celebrating their 21st year in Las Vegas, and they have scaring people down to an art form. Roaming behind the scenes and watching the talented haunters at work, I witnessed more than one person in tears and grateful to be outside again. The first character you’ll meet at Trilogy of Terror is Scorch. He leaves a lasting impression. He’s a big, intimidating guy with carny makeup and a knife. After a cannon goes off, he grabs a torch, pours a mouthful of lighter fluid, then spits fire into the night sky. It’s dangerous but entertaining, much like Scorch himself.
