16HoursRemain was formed by Alex and Cody. Alex was in a band called Look Out Below at the time with current member Sean and it was a rock/punk band like Sum 41, but they never did anything, so Alex just wanted to start his own metal band. Cody, a good friend, only liked metal and wanted to be in a band. He and Alex joined forces. After many lineup and name changes, 16HoursRemain was born.
