Action Cat

Genre: Rock
Web site: http://www.myspace.com/actioncatmusic
Action Cat got its start in 2006. The premise was to create a band that would reflect each member's influences, which they describe as older tunes such as The Beatles and Bob Dylan, along with a lot of jazz.
Their sound is difficult to pin down because as they say, "it's very eclectic with a mix of different genres." In song writing, they prefer to use their imaginations for inspiration as opposed to life experiences, and as a result, their music is filled with "loads of irony and satire."
The members of Action Cat are no stranger to the music scene, most of them have been involved in various other projects such as Normandy and Curl Up and Die.
