Ashbury

Genres: Pop, Rock
Web site: http://www.ashburyrock.net

Ashbury came together in April of 2005. They took a blend of underground and mainstream influences and created a crossover phenomenon. Ashbury popped up on Las Vegas' radio station, CBS Radio Mix 94.1 and they were the most requested band for three weeks straight. After winning a local competition and the following national contest consisting of over 10,000 bands, they band entered the top four in a contest to open for Bon Jovi. Bon Jovi personally picked Ashbury from the top four to open for them at their July 19, 2006 show at Giant's Stadium in NJ. Ashbury's music has also been heard on MTV's hit television shows "The Hills," "Laguna Beach" and "Pimp My Ride." They have been working on their sophomore album and will be touring the country to support that and their first album.
