Fernando and Danny agreed to make music together in 2003. Something was bound to be produced after listening to everything and anything. In late 2007, Danny and Fernando were looking to expand their sound, so they decided to look for the right singer. Miguel came along to fill that position. Around that same time, Fernando asked Phil if he wanted to play drums for Close To Modern, and he gladly accepted. Thus became the current incarnation of Close to Modern.
