Dead Neon is underground music journalist Jarret Keene’s post-apocalyptic blackened doom metal band. Trapped in Las Vegas, 65 miles from the Nevada Test Site, inspired by the crude brutality of pioneering Vegas death-doom act Goatlord and the dour lyrics of melancholy bard Leonard Cohen, Dead Neon dreams of a bleak future, when mankind no longer matters and God’s face is forever turned away.
