Easysleeves

Easysleeves

Genres: Country, Psychedelic, Rock

Although their music is usually classified as psychedelic rock, it also includes elements of country, jazz, and world music. Easysleeves consists of Nicholas Caparso on lead vocals/guitar, Tee Jay Dourbet on bass, Daniel Steffey on drums, Gino Quartucci on guitar/pedal steel, Courtney Crabtree on vocals/tambourine, and Grace Simms on organ/mandolin. The band is also known to incorporate a wide variety of instrumentation that includes the sitar, accordion, mandolin, washboard, as well a vast collection of hand drums. Their live shows usually feature spontaneous jams, extended versions of their songs, and sometimes tribal chants. Much of Caparso’s lyrical content is influenced both by Eastern philosophy and the psychedelic experience. They will begin the recording of their debut album in the summer of 2008.
