Originally named JLA, musician Aaron Cattoir began his music career in hip hop. He released one digital EP through the UK's Common Threads records and was a regular performer at early Box Office shows. In 2009 he joined Macro Fi and formed the group Outside Looking In, along with whatfOUR, Okword, The Dyslexic Duo and Flip Valentine. They recorded one album, Told You So, and he then left the group to pursue different musical goals. Recently he won NerdyShow.com Tetris Rap Attack, fetching him a song with the rising star Astronautalis. A good omen for his debut full length, The Unhappy Meal. It is a mix of hip hop, indie rock, folk and electronica. This album aims to tell its stories without words, with only sparse vocals mostly provided by Jerrad Singer of local band I am the Thief.
