I'm the Rabbit was formed by singer Tonia Carlson as a way to bring her songwriting out of the acoustic world and into the indie-rock circuit. The band is trying to break from convention and all expectations. The music and lyrics, primarily guided by Carlson, deal with macabre and personal issues. As Carlson puts it: "Most of my songs are about people I hate."

I'm The Rabbit is amazing. The way Tonia sings is a cross between angelic and sinister. Andrew's drum style is whimsical and free, and Jason is most-definitely a master bassist. If you haven't seen them play, you don't know what you're missing.
