The Soviet & The Onset

The Soviet & The Onset was formed in 2007 by Sean Van Cleef, his brother Justin Van Cleef, and Kirk Steadman. Kellen Owens was added to the lineup shortly after. The four members started playing live as much as possible, and released their first recording, Our Fathers Bleed History, in June 2009 at a Beauty Bar show in which they opened for Cursive.
