The Bends

After 10 years of writing, recording, touring and performing songs together in the Las Vegas group Big Bad Zero, lead guitarist Dave Meeks and lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist Nick Mattera have joined forces once again to bring you THE BENDS, an acoustic duo blending raw talent, two part harmonies and some of the most amazing guitar playing found in the entertainment capital of the world, Las Vegas.
We always knew we had a chemistry together as a songwriting team from the early days of BBZ and felt it was time for a new project. Our focus is to play shows with an intimate acoustic vibe and slowly work the crowd up to what we call a "musical climax!" Although we play original music one of the things we enjoy is covering some of the great songs that have inspired us to play. THE BENDS can be found performing throughout the Las Vegas valley almost every weekend in venues such as the House of Blues, The Rio Voodoo Lounge, Red Rock Casino, The Palms Ghostbar and many of the taverns around Las Vegas and California.
