The Big Friendly Corporation started as a solo project for Ryan Marth. In 2003, Marth recorded an all-analogue record and at the request of his sister, Melissa, started a band. With Melissa on keys, Jeff Ford on guitar, Mike McDonald on drums, Timothy Styles on bass and Marth on guitar, the band has since released two albums and continues to create.
