Brothers Steve (vocals) and Tommy (guitar) had been in various bands and grew tired of what punk rock was becoming. They decided to form a street punk rock-n-roll band and to combine old and new influences and just play good old straight ahead, in your face punk rock with sing along anthems. They got long time friend "The Douche" to play bass and recruited "The Duke" to play drums, thus the Latchkey Kidz were born.
