Steve (guitar), Chad (bass) and Ben (drums) had played together in two other bands continuously since late 2005, when, in the fall of 2007, they decided to start a hard rock band with a focus on vocal hooks and technical instrumentality. We added Cecily LaMonde on vocals, and two months later we recorded our five-song demo and began frequently playing Jillian’s and other venues around Las Vegas.
