Walker Rose & The Pines

Walker Rose & The Pines

Genre: Blues

Formed in late 2009, this Las Vegas trio brings the blues to Downtown's music scene. Singer Walker Rose, influenced by classic crooners such as Ledbelly and Howlin' Wolf, uses his gritty Tom Waits style vocals to express his storytelling songs about pain and sufering. While drummer Dustin Tafeaga and bassist Preston Himebauch combine to carry out the rhythm of the Deep-South.
