Clevermom visits Vegas

As I blog, my mom is flying back to Michigan. She was in town for a week. We did all sorts of fun Vegas things together—we ate lunch at Town Square, ate lunch at Wynn, ate lunch at Souper Salad. Awesome vans & impractical magic

1) I see this van all the time. It’s usually parked behind McMullan’s Irish Pub. What’s nice about the van is this: if you park it in front of somebody’s house, they pretty much have to give you a massage. 2) You know your sanitary supply company is doing well when you can’t even be bothered to put a single image of a berry on your “BERRY PATCH”-scented deodorizer. Poetry & truth for consenting adults

I went home to Michigan for a week, and when I got there, I found this sculpture. It’s called “Poetry & Truth”; it was sculpted by John Sauve; it looks just like two guys engaged in, um, consensual activity. Or maybe I just have a dirty mind? Butterflies, cocktail napkins and women

If you hang out at Boomers long enough, you’re going to meet some interesting characters. I’ve hung out at Boomers long enough. Two of the most colorful guys I’ve met are Brian Campbell and Chris Randall. Brian is a comedy stage hypnotist who’s been on The Tyra Banks Show; Chris is a magician who’s worked on Mindfreak.
