Cleverboy’s book has dropped

By Rick Lax

Try as you might, you can't fool Cleverboy.

It finally happened. My new book came out today.

It’s called Fool Me Once: Hustlers, Hookers, Headliners, and How Not to Get Screwed in Vegas. I feel like it’s my Bar Mitzvah all over again, only I’ll probably make a lot less money this time around.

Which is a shame, because—and I don’t think I’m overstating things here—Fool Me Once is the single greatest piece of writing in the modern American canon.

It’s about deception—deception in magic, deception in gambling, deception in nightlife, and deception in romance. Reading the book won’t turn you into a human lie detector, but you’ll definitely learn a ton about lies, and you’ll have a great time doing it.

You can order the book on Amazon, or you can pick the book up at Borders or Barnes & Noble.

Those are your only choices. Not buying a copy isn’t an option.

Seriously, though, if you’ve enjoyed my writing in Las Vegas Weekly, I do think you’ll enjoy the book, too.
