Another loss in the nightlife community: Steve Baach
In the past few weeks, tragedy struck twice in the Las Vegas nightlife industry. Adam Stokes, piercing specialist and former Icehouse Lounge 443 Friday event co-promoter passed away on April 20. A few days earlier, Steven Baach died in a car accident on April 17.

Baach was a representative for Lotus Vodka and prior to that, he worked for P.I.N.K. vodka.
His friend Michael Rado, who grew up with him in the suburbs of Cleveland and now lives in Vegas, remembers Baach: “He was the life of the party,” says Rado. “He was always concerned with everyone else having fun, and Steve always had a smile on his face.” Baach still had a love for Ohio and founded a Browns/Packers club at the Paradise Cantina, where he frequently hung out.
“He helped out a lot of people,” says Rick Gonzalez, aka DJ G Minor from Hot 97.5. Baach managed Gonzalez, who remembers him as always willing to let a hand to others when many people wouldn’t.
“He was a wonderful person, both personally and professionally,” says former President and CEO of P.I.N.K. Spirits Company David Mandell. “I had tremendous respect for Steve.”
A memorial service was held last weekend for Baach to pay tribute to his life. His brother, Michael Baach, is still hospitalized as a result of injuries sustained in the same automobile crash.
