MGM Mirage halts stock trading

MGM Mirage halted trading on its stock at 12:11 p.m. due to a pending news announcement.

Shares closed at $6.18, up 6.55 percent, when the company stopped trading.

Recent speculation has circled around the possible sale of certain casinos to finance the completion of CityCenter.
