The Polynesian-themed Trader Vic’s inside the Miracle Mile Shops will soon be closing its doors.

A spokesperson for Miracle Mile said the restaurant will be closing but he didn't know the timetable. A formal announcement on the closing will be made soon, he said.

Trader Vic’s general manager Jerry Yanez said employees are scheduled through next week and the restaurant will operate as planned until the announcement is made.

Trader Vic’s opened in the Miracle Mile shops in 2007. The restaurant, opened in the 1930s as Hinky Dinks, operates 26 restaurants in 13 counties.
