You will soon have to drink elsewhere, Brew Pub fans
By April Corbin
The Monte Carlo Brew Pub
Get ready to say goodbye to The Brew Pub.
The Monte Carlo this week announced the restaurant/bar will close its doors permanently on July 12. The Brew Pub has been a staple at the Monte Carlo since the casino opened in June 1996. Beginning as a microbrewery, The Brew Pub has since shut down the microbrewery and operates as a standard bar and restaurant.
The pub, along with the space around it near the Street of Dreams retail shops, will undergo renovations.
Information on the full extent of the renovations, as well as details on the space’s replacement, is not yet available. However, according to MGM Mirage public relations representative Jessica Gildar, a new venue will replace The Brew Pub.
Meanwhile, the Street of Dreams shopping promenade will lead to a tram connecting the Monte Carlo with neighboring CityCenter and Bellagio. The tram will be located in the same place as a previous tram connecting the casino with Bellagio.
