Reader-submitted film festival
By Josh Bell
Every so often I get e-mail from readers accusing me of not appreciating the kinds of films they like, or of overlooking great movies that deserve attention, or of just being an idiot. When I'm on X-107.5-FM each week (Fridays at 9:10 a.m. on the DAM Morning Show), people will call in complaining that I don't know what I'm talking about, and that they should be the ones deciding what movies get reviewed.
Well, now's your chance: We're looking for submissions from readers for an upcoming film marathon to be undertaken by yours truly. Are there unknown movies you think deserve attention, or underrated films that you think get dismissed unfairly, or terrible movies you'd like to torture other people with? Click here to submit your suggestions (or leave them in the comments), and I'll watch them all and write about them in an upcoming story in Las Vegas Weekly. Don't miss the opportunity to show me what movies really matter (or just make me sit through something completely unwatchable).
