A pair of the city’s most spacious nightclubs are welcoming 2013 with two of the biggest names in contemporary music.
Pure Nightclub at Caesars Palace is holding its New Year’s Eve party with Nicki Minaj as host, according to a news release issued this morning. A top-selling recording artist whose tension with Mariah Carey on “American Idol” has caused something of a ripple among fans of that Fox show, Minaj is expected to “throw a boisterous party as she leads the countdown to midnight and celebrates alongside partygoers” at Pure, the 36,000-square-foot party fortress.
Meanwhile, also announced today is CeeLo Green's NYE weekend engagement at Chateau Nightclub & Gardens in the Paris, which is set for Dec. 30.
Pre-sale tickets for Minaj's Dec. 31 event start at $50 for women and $100 for men (not including fees). VIP tables start at $2,000. For reservations and to purchase tickets, go to the Angel Management Group website. Doors open at 8 p.m., and guests must be age 21 or older.
Green, a judge on NBC's "The Voice" who is scheduled to begin his "Loberace" headlining residency at Planet Hollywood in February, takes over the 45,000-square-foot, two-story Chateau nightspot for a performance the night before NYE. No adjusted admission prices have been announced for the CeeLo show at Chateau, but they will be higher than the $20 admission fee for women and $30 for men the club typically charges.
Doors open at 10:30 p.m. For table reservations and VIP bottle service, guests can call 702-776-7777 or email reservations@chateaunightclubvegas.com.
