Strip Scribbles: Paris Hilton’s lips, star sightings

By Robin Leach

* Yes, that was pop mogul Paris Hilton "kissing" the poster of her favorite hair guru in the lobby at Caesars Palace. Paris had just left Michael Boychuck's salon, Color, when on the way to her limo she saw the lobby placard -- and promptly smooched it! She left a perfect print of her lips in pink lipstick -- and it's still there so far!

* P. Diddy’s all-girl group, Danity Kane, will take over the new, hot, hip Sushi Samba restaurant in the Palazzo for a private concert toward the end of the month. It's for just 180 privileged dinner guests attending the upcoming MAGIC fashion convention. Owner Matt Johnson has confirmed his Sugarcane lounge will open Aug. 15, in plenty of time for the girls' performance. In addition, he’s won RSVPs from the entire cast of Entourage, along with Brazilian musicians and top Victoria's Secret lingerie models, who are all set for the unique restaurant’s official three-day grand opening over the Sept. 18-20 weekend. The two-week-old restaurant, with its stunning interiors and mind-boggling fabulous food, is winning raves as the "best new nightspot for the in-crowd" in town.

* From the file of racy rumors and wicked whispers: What rich and famous "bachelor" who plays in Vegas regularly can’t marry his longtime girlfriend because he’s still married (although separated) and has yet another galpal hidden away in the same neighborhood? Insiders swear the wife refuses to give him a divorce! Now that would really make a truth-be-told TV reality series! ... Was that really a state beauty queen winner partying like a Wild On risqué TV segment at Prive nightclub in Planet Hollywood with one of the X show topless dancers in surprising make-out maneuvers that had other revelers watching just as open-mouthed? ... What rock group had so much intense and major backstage turmoil while visiting here at the weekend they bolted rather than meeting with friends and fans after their show? ... What hip-hop group has the most extraordinary contract rider in their concert booking agreements, calling for "a bucket of fried chicken" for each member along with 10 boxes of extra-large condoms (I am baffled by the relationship of the only two items they ask for special delivery!)

* Star surveillance: Legendary filmmaker and producer Jerry Bruckheimer also partied with Cuba Gooding Jr. at the posh hotspot, Bank nightclub, at the Bellagio ... Actor Dominic Chianese, well-known for his role as Uncle Junior on the HBO series, The Sopranos, nursed an afternoon beer at the Gold Bar, located inside the Pahrump Nugget Hotel & Casino over the hump in Pahrump, 50 miles outside of the Strip ... Superbad star Jonah Hill wound up at Drai’s Afterhours inside Bill's Gamblin' Hall at center-Strip after some heavy 3 a.m. partying with Patron tequila shots and Grey Goose vodka at Prive inside Planet Hollywood, where Alan Thicke and Playmate Nicole Narain were at separate tables ... Five-time Academy Award-winning film director, producer and screenwriter Francis Ford Coppola lunched at Wolfgang Puck's Postrio, inside the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian ... Former boxing champions Lennox Lewis and Floyd Mayweather Jr. were at separate VIP tables before hooking up together at the same table later at Tryst nightclub at the Wynn, where former Full House star John Stamos, UFC president Dana White and NBA players Jermaine O'Neal and Alan Anderson were also celebrating ... Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee partied with tattoo artist Mario Barth at the House of Blues after his concert at Mandalay Bay.

* World famous DJ Paul Oakenfold is all set to begin his residency at George Maloof’s Palms as of Labor Day weekend. His Perfecto Las Vegas starts Aug. 30 -- Wow, has summer gone that fast already?
