Hip-hop superstar Nelly is adding a new feather to his cap- and this newest venture in his string of successes is high energy packed with pizzazz! ZizZazz is a Vegas based energy drink mix company and Nelly is now one of the owners and will be its high-profile spokesman. “I didn’t just want to endorse it. I wanted to be part of the growth of the company,” he said. Unlike other energy drinks, this comes in a packet and one simply adds water! Nelly added “It definitely fits my lifestyle. I can throw a few in my bag, grab a bottle of water and I’m set. It helps my energy stay high during rehearsals and performances now that Brass Knuckles will in September go into release.” Nelly was recently at the Red Rock resort, where he unveiled tracks from the new album. The single “ Party People,” recorded with Fergie, was released in March
ZizZazz has become one of the fastest-growing and most-popular energy drinks. Nelly is the first high-profile name attached to the mix and the company is betting he will propel it even faster across America. He will appear in television commercials, become the voice of radio advertising and will be its official spokesperson participating in media and other appearances throughout the coming months. Nelly has sold more than 30 million copies worldwide from his four previous studio albums. The unique 2004 double release, Sweat and Suit, made Nelly the first solo artist in history to make simultaneous album chart entries at No. 1 and No. 2. He is founder and CEO of record label Derrty Entertainment; has launched two successful clothing labels, Apple Bottoms and Vokal; is a co-owner of the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats, in addition to being founder of two charitable organizations, “Jes Us 4 Jacki” and “4 Sho 4 Kids.”
He now adds energy beverage spokesperson to his resume, while promoting Zizzazz. The drink mix, in four flavors, is packaged in a portable serving stick and gives all-day energy with less than 1 gram of sugar, just 20 calories per stick, and is loaded with vitamins A, B1, B3, B5, B12, C and E, as well as ginseng, green tea extracts and the mysterious sounding “rhodiola rosea.” Cheers!

Beergarita
It was quite by happenstance that I came upon the beergarita, or perhaps it found me. I was blissfully unaware of the house-party staple’s existence until two glasses literally put ...
