Strip Scribbles: Wayne Brady’s first, Tom Jones on stage

* Congratulations to Wayne Brady on his first anniversary celebration taking place at his headline showroom in the Venetian.

* The panties and room keys still get thrown when Welsh hip-swivel singer Tom Jones takes the stage -- and he’s at the Hollywood Theater in MGM Grand until Aug. 20.

* For raucous, guitar-stoked blues-rock, nobody does it better than George Thorogood and The Destroyers. They’ve been around since the 70s and their 30 Years of Rockalbum went gold and remained on the charts for 60 weeks. Five-time Grammy winner Buddy Guy, who belts his Chicago blues, is also on the double-bill.

* The four wacky-dressed guys who make up The Spazmatics take the stage at the Beatles Revolution Lounge in the Mirage -- and I bet they’ll be wearing those checkered plaid pants!
