Vegas rap star Flo Rida wows the hometown crowd

Hip-hop star Flo Rida, a former UNLV student, wowed the crowd in an unforgettable evening at Pure nightclub’s Summer Surprise Series. Not only did he perform on stage but he also jumped down to the floor to dance with his fans! It was shortly after midnight at Caesars Palace when he began the show with his current hit single "In The Ayer" and followed it with "Elevator," the second single from his highly successful solo album Mail on Sunday. Flo Rida kept the high-energy crowd in a frenzy by having the two sides of the club compete in a loudest scream contest, which hyped them up to his "Low" song hit. That was in the No. 1 slot on the Billboard charts for 10 weeks this summer. With the excitement at fever pitch, he skyrocketed from the stage right into the jam-packed dance floor to finish off his show surrounded by fans. Later, after photos and autographs galore, he returned to his entourage of friends on stage partying until the early morning hours.
