Jim Rogers says son Perry, Agassi and Graf need to settle lawsuit

The entire town is abuzz over the unexpected $50 million lawsuit that Andre Agassi’s former business partner Perry Rogers has filed against the tennis champion’s wife, Steffi Graf.

Andre released an official statement that we reported Sunday morning, but since then a code of silence has descended on the sad feud.

However, our intrepid editor John Katsilometes had Perry’s father, Jim, on his weekly KUNV FM 91.5 radio show, Our Metropolis that will air today at 6 p.m. It was John’s following question that caught my ears: “What has your advice been to your son in this case?”

Jim answered: “Perry is a grown man. He’s 40 years old, and I kind of stay out of his business. He’s been very, very successful, and he’s done it all on his own. I’ve never had my children involved in my business; they’ve never owned any part of it.

“But I’m not in any position to talk about (the lawsuit). I don’t know the particulars. I probably won’t get involved in it. He and Steffi and Andre need to work it out.”
