Heroes star Hayden Panettiere launches ‘bag of her dreams’ in the Palazzo

Young blonde-haired beauty Hayden Panettiere of NBC’s Heroes decided that Las Vegas was the perfect playground to launch her new signature handbag line in time for the peak holiday sales season. It also proved perfect for Hayden to get her own gift shopping completed.

Hayden checked into the Palazzo and introduced the “bag of her dreams” at the Dooney & Bourke store, for which she is the official spokesmodel. Her $295 Hayden clutch went on sale simultaneously at Dooney & Bourke stores in New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Japan, Macau, Old San Juan and Honolulu.

Hayden said she fashioned the six-color line from Italian calfskin using a 24-carat gold-plated lion-head closure -- because she’s a Leo! The bags have an outside back pocket and a fully lined interior and are available in black, white, red, royal blue, hot pink and purple.

Hayden commented: “This was the opportunity of a lifetime to actually create my own perfect bag with Peter Dooney. I’m over the moon as to how it turned out. The price is right, but what’s more important is that because it works so well for me, it’s going to be great for every other woman, too. Treat yourself or buy it as a gift!”
