Morning Call: Pamela Anderson to peddle her ‘luxury lounge on wheels’

Elvis Presley’s private jet dates back to 1962 -- and its four engines are missing! The salmon pink exterior paint is peeling, and the 45-year-old interior hasn’t been restored.

However, that’s not deterring either aviation or Elvis fans over their enthusiasm for the 1962 Lockheed JetStar, which will go up for sale next week here in Las Vegas. Since it was only one of three that the King of Rock ’n’ Roll owned when he headlined here at the Las Vegas Hilton, it’s expected to fetch between $1 million to $2 million!

You’ll find it alongside Wayne Newton’s 1982 Mercedes and Pamela Anderson’s custom “Love Stream” trailer complete with stripper pole that Hugh Hefner gave to her. (Click HERE for our first report on that nifty number earlier this week.)

Now I’ve learned that when they all go on sale Dec. 19 and 20 at South Point, Pamela herself will trek in to draw attention to her “luxury lounge on wheels.” If she’s dressed just in her underwear as she did last weekend at an art fair in Miami, she’ll really grab the publicity of racy headlines and photos and steal the spotlight from Elvis and Wayne!
