Morning Call Photo Gallery: Jamie Foxx celebrates in style at Tao

Music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs wanted pal Jamie Foxx to have “the biggest birthday blast of the year,” and he gifted the Academy Award-winning actor and Grammy-nominated singer with as many bottles of his Ciroc vodka as they could handle!

Jamie arrived at Tao in The Venetian with a 22-person entourage of family and close friends, including his sister Deidra Dixon. They were escorted into a private dining room for a birthday feast of sushi, lobster won tons and Chilean sea bass. At the end of the meal, restaurant managers arranged for the entire staff of servers to surround him with sparklers as they presented him with the first of two birthday cakes.

The entire restaurant erupted in a “Happy Birthday” sing-along. Jamie teared up as he gave an emotional speech thanking each guest -- including some childhood friends from Texas -- for supporting him through the years.

The first part of Jamie’s joint 41st birthday celebration tied into his new album Intuition, which is being released Tuesday, wrapped as the group moved up to Tao nightclub, where his usual VIP dance floor table was awaiting -- and so was recording artist and producer Sean “P.Diddy”! That meant even more bottles of his premier Ciroc beverage.

Jamie took over the mic and sang songs from the new album. Then P.Diddy grabbed the mic and got every reveler there to join in another “Happy Birthday” sing-along. That signaled another server sparkler presentation -- and another birthday cake, this one featuring his new album cover! Jamie and P.Diddy stayed on the mic, going back and forth with each other -- and even pointing out the beautiful ladies in the dance floor crowd.

“Jamie’s party was just like New Year’s Eve,” one partygoer told me this morning.

Even rock star singer Avril Lavigne rolled into Tao at 1:45 this morning to join their party. She wore pink Converse high-tops with her signature pink highlights. She received a shout-out from P.Diddy but chose Patron tequila shots instead of his Ciroc. Either way, that puts to rest those Internet buzzes about her supposed pregnancy!

Jamie Foxx blows out birthday candles at Tao -- The Venetian restaurant and nightclub presented him with two cakes during the big celebration.

Watching all the party fun at another VIP table were Fantastic Four actor Chris Evans and My Boys actor Kyle Howard, who is now dating Lauren Conrad of MTV’s The Hills.

“The party was still going strong at 4 a.m. today, and it didn’t look like it was even winding down then,” I was told. “They’ll probably keep it going until dawn and beyond. It is one incredible celebration.”
