Pink truly loves herself in new video and swings on stage

Rebel singer Pink is no stranger to headlines, first with her music and then with her appearance. Certainly with her troubled on-and-off, up-and-down marriage here in Las Vegas to Carey Hart, the owner of Wasted Space in the Hard Rock Hotel.

Now she’s all set to fire up a new controversy when she makes love to herself in a brand new video for “Sober,” the second single off her fifth album, Funhouse. Her laugh-out-loud “So What,” which zaps former stuntman motocross champion Carey (who also appears in the music video), has raised eyebrows and become a major hit.

In the sultry scenes for “Sober,” she’s hardly that, swigging down alcohol and partying like a wild child. In fact, the video being released Dec. 22 is so risque, she’ll be seen “falling in love” with herself. (That was delicate, wasn’t it)?

She wears just a black bra and fishnet stockings in the “self-love” imagery thanks to camera tricks and digital skills. She will even be seen playing with the bra straps of her cloned double -- and kissing while lying down on top of each other!

Pink, 29, will be hosting and performing here on New Year’s Eve at her ex-husband’s Wasted Space. Her performances include a unique trapeze act, and she has been working out quite publicly at the Santa Monica Pier with a shaved-headed, muscular instructor. She grips his body tightly for those unique swings and spins on the trapeze.

I’m told she plans to perform three songs and perform at least part of the new trapeze act in her midnight countdown Dec. 31 at the Hard Rock. You can check out the exciting, dramatic photos at my old London newspaper by clicking HERE.
