It’s unheard of! From 7 to 9 tonight at the Hard Rock Hotel, drinks and hors d’oeuvres are on the house! That’s right -- absolutely free! No charge! No check! No tab! It’s not even confined to one lowly, hidden-in-the-corner bar setup. This is a property-wide party -- and you can imbibe as much as you want in the “Cheers! Las Vegas” party at Pink Taco, Robert De Niro’s Ago restaurant, the famed Center Bar, Carey Hart’s Wasted Space and the new Poker Lounge.

The entire hotel has been decorated in festive holiday decor, and all of the female staff members, in holiday spirit, have thrown off their uniforms and replaced them with sexy Santa suits! Yale Rowe, Hard Rock’s GM of operations, said: “It’s a toast to Las Vegas as we celebrate the end of 2008 and get ready for 2009. It’s certainly the largest-ever party hosted by the Hard Rock -- and maybe in all of Vegas.”

In addition, the hotel has special promotions and discounts all across the resort from the Rock Spa to the retail store! Yale added: “Given the state of the economy, many companies have scaled back or canceled altogether their traditional holiday parties. It’s been a trying year for many, so the Hard Rock wanted to give our local community an escape from the day-to-day grind -- if only for a few hours!”

Double your holiday pleasure at the Hard Rock Hotel.

The Hard Rock is nearing the end of an $800 million expansion project that began in 2007 and is scheduled to be completed by late next year with new restaurants, nightclubs, a health spa club, stores and a new Joint entertainment venue. You can read about Motley Crue’s plans to shut the old Joint in a story posted earlier this morning.

Yale summed up: “We have great faith in the resiliency of Vegas, and while much attention is focused on current market conditions, we are celebrating everything we have to be thankful for -- all that we have accomplished this year and to our future.”
