Strip Scribbles: Did Marc Anthony pics in Las Vegas doom his marriage to J.Lo?

A set of photos taken here in Las Vegas that showed singer Marc Anthony partying solo the weekend after Thanksgiving may well have contributed to what’s being labeled “a breaking point” in his marriage to actress Jennifer Lopez. Apparently neither is now wearing a wedding band, and Jennifer isn’t wearing her 8-carat engagement ring, either! Marc also was photographed solo in New York at the Bungalow 8 and Marquee nightclubs, and US Weekly even reported he had his hand on one woman’s thigh and complained about Jennifer to another group of girls! “Jennifer turned up at the premiere of The Curious Case of Benjamin Button without her husband -- or the rings. Then Marc was spotted without his! They both didn’t wear their rings on purpose,” US said. “Thanksgiving was pretty tense.”

After partying on the town in New York, Marc flew to Las Vegas for a party attended by Eva Longoria. It’s all sad, especially since just two months ago, Marc and Jennifer renewed their vows in a private 3 a.m. ceremony in their luxurious presidential suite in the Augustus Tower at Caesars Palace. Earlier this year, their twins Max and Emme were born! Now less than 60 days after the renewal here in Vegas are photos of him at another Vegas affair. Insiders and friends are saying they’ve broken up and that J.Lo doesn’t want to remain a stay-at-home Long Island housewife and wants to get back to the business of being a box office star!
Lance Bass arrives at Paris Las Vegas.
*Lance Bass now joins our New Year’s Eve party. The Dancing With the Stars finalist will stay on in Vegas after his Dec. 29 tour date with the DWTS cast at The Orleans Arena. The former ’N Sync star will join hip-hop icons and guest deejays Run DMC and reality actress Denise Richards for the midnight countdown and champagne party Dec. 31 at Prive nightclub in Planet Hollywood.

*Two rock shows caught our contributing photographer’s attention. Our friend Sully Erma from Godsmack performed a solo acoustic concert out at Ovation Lounge inside Green Valley Ranch, and Scott Harrison captured photographs of the show for us. One of the annual holiday events at The Joint inside the Hard Rock Hotel featured British indie rock band Bloc Party promoting its third and newest album Intimacy, plus Franz Ferdinand, The Ting Tings and Carolina Liar at the Area 107.9 show.

*Robert Buckley, the hot hunk who plays Kirby on NBC’s recently canceled Lipstick Jungle, completed his last-minute holiday shopping at the Palazzo. He picked up ties at Andrews boutique and then shirts at Billionaire Italian Couture. He also stopped by the Helix Wine Bar for a wine tasting, mingled with visitors and wrapped it all up with sushi at Sushi Samba there. Robert, who stayed at the Palazzo, hosted the shopping spree to let the ladies know exactly what their men would want for Christmas!
Holiday Playboy Bunnies.
*We’re now just five shopping days away from Christmas, so you know that everybody’s all dressed up for the holi-daze. However, at the Playboy Club in the Palms, it’s a case of dressing down for the season as Vegas always gives the tribute to Santa a sexy, sassy edge. Contributing photographer Scott Harrison captured these illustrious images for us of the Playboy Bunnies celebrating the holiday season atop the Palms Fantasy Tower! Enjoy!

How better to hop into the weekend? You’ve got just about 100 hours left for last-minute shopping, but if you’re sitting with your feet up and images of sugar plum bunnies are dancing in your head, you’ve got time to still enjoy some Vegas weekend highlights that we affectionately call around here the Royal Robin Rundown:
Friday, Dec. 19
*Sexy bombshell Pamela Anderson promises to warm up our cold desert temperatures with an appearance today and tomorrow at the 37th annual Kruse collector car auction. She’s hoping to show her skills on the stripper pole included in her silver "LoveStream” trailer that’s on the auction block at South Point. Playboy mogul Hugh Hefner, who had the covers of his pinup magazine emblazoned into the seats on board, originally gave the trailer to her!
*Paul Anka starts a three-night run of shows at The Orleans, and you can be certain you’ll hear several of his amazing No. 1 hits from his extraordinary career. Click HERE to read my exclusive interview with Paul.
*Our favorite local resident singer Clint Holmes is “Holmes for the Holiday” with musical director Bill Fayne up at the Suncoast for three nights through Sunday.
*Some holiday havoc rock ’n’ roll style is under the mistletoe at the Hard Rock Hotel for just one night with Papa Roach, Hoobastank and the Hollywood Undead -- which is such an appropriate name to describe certain agents out there in Tinseltown!
*The Big Bad Voodoo Daddy holiday concert swings into Green Valley Ranch with bandleader Scotty Morris capturing the jazz-blues swing music of the 1940s and ’50s. It’s “everything you want for Christmas” because that’s exactly what they’ll play!
*Actress Julia Ling from NBC’s Chuck plays host at Prive nightclub in Planet Hollywood for the cast’s season-wrap party.
Saturday, Dec. 20
*David Hasselhoff, who starred here in Mel Brooks’ The Producers at Paris Las Vegas, sings the national anthem to kick off the 5 p.m. Pioneer Las Vegas Bowl at Sam Boyd Stadium in the wintry showdown between the University of Arizona and Brigham Young University.
Zowie Bowie.
* My Zowie Bowie song-and-dance duo pals Chris Phillips and Marley Taylor will ride in The Nutcracker sleigh at the Nevada Ballet Theater’s 28th annual production in UNLV’s Judy Bayley Theater tonight.
*You’d better be hungry for the double rock header at the House of Blues in Mandalay Bay with Appetite for Destruction and Back in Black.
*Sexy Mayra Veronica, who is a frequent photographic feature on the sexiest women’s lists of FHM and Maxim magazines, hosts the University of Arizona game post-party, and the Latin beauty is hoping her team will be the victor!

Sunday, Dec. 21
*The sleigh ride is right on time again -- at 4 p.m. in the UNLV Judy Bayley Theater -- for The Nutcracker, and I’m on board to open the show! Nevada Ballet Theater has 80 kids ages 5 to 14 appearing in the show. Be sure to check out the snowflake ballerinas’ photo display in the lobby before and after the performance.
*It’s the last two-day run for comedy singing ventriloquist Terry Fator at the Las Vegas Hilton. Click HERE for our exclusive interview and story with him on Thursday. Terry moves now to the Strip starting Valentine’s Day with his own theater at The Mirage.
Monday’s tease
It’s the grand-opening day of Steve Wynn’s new Encore resort, and he’s promised us that by 1 p.m., we’ll have the full photo and video tour of the best resort he’s ever built! Vegas DeLuxe also will have full photo coverage of The Girls Next Door visit to Caesars Palace and our sleigh ride at Nevada Ballet’s Nutcracker performance. Remember, though, to check in on Saturday when we post the up-close and personal photos from Criss Angel and gal pal Holly Madison’s joint birthday party at LAX at the Luxor.

Beergarita
It was quite by happenstance that I came upon the beergarita, or perhaps it found me. I was blissfully unaware of the house-party staple’s existence until two glasses literally put ...
