Year-in-Review: Our photographers share their favorite snapshots of 2008

Here at Vegas DeLuxe, we go through hundreds of photos each week from an extraordinary team of great contributing photographers to get the best shots of the celebrities at play in our world’s best platinum playground.

Year-in-Review: Tom Donoghue

Our lens men and lens women are ringside at the fights, front row at the concerts, backstage in the dressing rooms and along the red carpet at the premieres and openings. There’s also a royal welcome for them inside the velvet ropes at the hottest of clubs and the most private of parties.

Year-in-Review: Erik Kabik

Unlike Hollywood and New York, our snap-happy photogs are invited to chronicle the coverage -- they aren’t the paparazzi who jump over walls, chase or stalk celebrities or trespass where forbidden. As a result, the Vegas scene captures candid, cheerful moments, and, as I like to say, each shot tells the story better than a thousand words I could write.

Madonna.

With that in mind, contributing photographers Tom Donoghue and Erik Kabik submitted their own year-in-review collections of their best shots. They had more than 100 in mind, but we’ve trimmed it down to the Top 10 of each photographer, plus a couple of bonus pictures.

Enjoy 2008 through their lenses -- and look forward to Vegas Deluxe bringing you many more photo reports and exclusives in 2009. You’ll always find the brightest and best photo coverage right here every day of the week!
