* You would never know that we’re officially in a recession based on the amount of wild free-spending partying that continues onward in our Vegas nightclubs. At Bank in the Bellagio, dance-queen diva Robin S. had the revelers going wild when she performed her smash single “Show Me Love”. Watching the show in a separate VIP group was former Pittsburgh Steelers multipurpose star Kordell “Slash” Stewart.
* Over at Jet at The Mirage, Playboy Playmate Janine Habeck and DJ Cobra teamed-up to host their hot Beauty and The Beats party. The German-born beauty and Hollywood beat-master made an unusual teaming to ensure the town’s sexiest people had an unforgettable night of party playtime.
* Death Row Records founder Suge Knight made a couple of late-night appearances on the Strip. He first headed to at Victor Drai’s Tryst nightclub in the Wynn, then he went onto Victor’s After Hours club at center Strip in Bill's Gamblin' Hall. NFL standout wide receiver Wes Welker of the New England Patriots was also a “standout” at Drai's After Hours club. Also staying out pre-dawn there were Arizona Diamondback Eric Byrnes and NFL stars Dwight Freeney (Indianapolis Colts) and Terrell Suggs (Baltimore Ravens). These players don’t even think of going to bed until the sun’s begun coming up!
Star Surveillance: Kym Johnson of Dancing with the Stars partied at Iron Chef Kerry Simon’s CatHouse restaurant and ultra-lounge in the Luxor, along with 12 Australian friends ... While at Sushi Roku in the Forum Shops at Caesars Hairspray film actress Amanda Bynes celebrated a bachelorette party with five friends. By coincidence both stars turned up separately the next night for the late night Thunder from Down Under hunks show at the Excalibur! ….. NBA standout O.J. Mayo of the Memphis Grizzlies dined at Fix at the Bellagio and the first-round draft pick ordered 16 pounds of crab legs and American Kobe beef to share among friends at the table!
