Peel off the lingerie to find the hottest new nightclub

The owners of L.A.’s hottest and newest nightclub, Kress, may have their sights set on the Strip -- and that’s even before its official gala opening.

The former Frederick's of Hollywood landmark building on Hollywood Boulevard was acquired by San Diego club operators -- the On Broadway entertainment conglomerate. He ordered the rundown building scrubbed clean and, lo and behold, as the grime peeled off, discovered there was a gorgeous art deco, historic Kress chain-store building. It was too good to change, so he polished it up even further with 900 premium parking spaces "soft-opened" days ago. It’s the first Vegas-type super-club in Hollywood and instantly the stars have fled all the other nightspots to make it the hottest. Paris Hilton immediately filmed an entire episode of her new reality show Best New Girlfriend on its roof; stars from MTV's The Hills discovered it and are shooting several episodes overlooking the entire Hollywood area; and super pop star Miley Cyrus wrapped up her final Hannah Montana episode there "up in the clouds."

"All that happened within the first two weeks of opening the doors," I was told. "They haven’t even yet set the official red carpet opening night. It's already been booked out for Oscar-week parties and Vanity Fair’s official, resumed Oscar party next year. Kress has become an instant overnight sensational smash hit -- and the stars are lined up three deep trying to get in."

Now I hear that Vegas may get a Kress! The owners have been looking at the Strip to establish a Sin City presence -- and we can expect some kind of official announcement before the year's end! Remember you read it here first at Luxe Life -- and there’s far more to this story yet to come.
