Denzel Washington tries to keep his trip a ‘secret’

It’s been a real family affair for screen superstar Denzel Washington while he’s been in Vegas watching one of his sons play point guard in the Adidas Super 64 Double Pump Elite basketball tournament. Malcolm Washington is a high school senior and has enough passion for b-ball to try and make it a career after college. The teams have been playing out at Desert Pines High School and devoted, dedicated Denzel was there every game his son played in -- however, everybody finally guessed him as the guy under the baseball cap labeled “secret.”

He took his wife, Pauletta, his son, Malcolm, and three other children -- Olivia, Katta and John David -- to the late performance of Cirque du Soleil’s Beatles show, LOVE, at the Mirage, where all of them sang along and applauded with the cast. Denzel and Pauletta sipped on Patron margaritas while the kids wisely stuck to the Fiji water! Then, the Academy Award-winning hero made a 2 a.m. stop to check out Tryst nightclub in the Wynn Las Vegas, where he joined friends at one of the dance floor tables.
