HBO Entourage star Jeremy Piven decided Vegas was the perfect city to celebrate his birthday -- and joined with his own entourage of friends he took over the VIP section at the Bank nightclub in the Bellagio. Actors Amy Smart and Elden Henson -- best known for his role as Fulton Reed in the Mighty Duckstrilogy, co-starring Emilio Estevez -- were alongside Richard Brenner, CEO of Newline Cinemas, in the VIP section. Their birthday group was celebrating publicist Kate Fenney’s similar anniversary.

The Bank’s sister club, Jet, next door at the Mirage, hosted Boston Celtics star Paul Pierce with an “MVP Championship Party.” Paul, who owns a condo here, relaxed first all day at the club’s Bare topless-optional pool. Then the Moet Rose champagne flowed in winning style. Other professional athletes partying included San Diego Chargers’ Shawn Phillips and Stephen Cooper, who sent the crowd into a wild frenzy when they took out larges stacks of money “to make it rain’ showering the packed dance floor with greenbacks. Also in the house was D.J. Strawberry of the Phoenix Suns, and Chris Richard with Corey Brewer of the Minnesota Timberwolves. Filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan partied with his friends, as did actress Gabrielle Union. Also hosting another party there were Real World XX: Hollywood cast members Kimberly Alexander and Sarah Ralston.
