Tommy-Pamela giving it try No. 801
By Robin Leach
The reunion of divorced couple Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson will certainly make good television for her new reality show -- but Tommy swears its for real, and not just a publicity stunt for the show's success.
The couple, who were divorced back in 1998, have two children from their marriage. They have remained “close friends and lovers” since the break-up. "Pamela and the kids have moved in with me,” Lee told Rolling Stone magazine.
"It’s awesome, man. It’s definitely working. You can tell on the kids’ faces — they’re happy when we’re together.”
The Motley Crue drummer and his Baywatch ex-wife confided they have tried several times to rekindle their relationship. "We’ve only given it a try 800 times — 801, here we go," Lee told the magazine.
Pamela returned to Tommy when her prior marriages to Kid Rock and poker player/porno-tape producer Rick Salomon crashed. Her most recent marriage to Salomon, known for making a sex videotape with then-girlfriend Paris Hilton, was annulled in March. He and Pamela had married in a private bungalow at The Mirage resort here on the Strip in between her Beauty of Magic shows at the Planet Hollywood resort -- and 83 days later she called it quits!
Tommy is a regular in Vegas, handling guest DJ chores at various nightclubs around town. He was also going to be an investor partner in the Crowbar nightclub planned for the NY-NY resort casino. That project was canceled over a change in financial terms and now will be an outpost of the Rok rock club from Miami
