Britney, K-Fed — a hardly harmonic convergence in Vegas

Moments ago, pop princess Britney Spears who has been expected in Vegas the last three weekends , checked into good friend, George Maloof's Palms resort hotel.

Her former husband, would be rapper Kevin Federline will arrive in Vegas later this afternoon and check into the Planet Hollywood, where tonight he will be named "Father of the Year" in a pre-Fathers Day celebration party at the Prive nightclub.

Its not likely that Britney will turn up for that dubious award ceremony nor is she expected to turn up at tonights official CineVegas opening party of our 10th anniversary Film Festival. However local Vegas hitmakers Panic at The Disco are performing in the Pearl concert theater at the Palms and George, who has dined with her twice recently in Los Angeles always has two tickets for himself and a special guest!

We'll be monitoring this breaking and developing story as an invasion of Los Angeles based paparazzi are already en route.
