Motley Crue lead singer Vince Neil has revealed exclusively to Luxe Life that construction is now under way on the second of his Dr. Feelgood’s rock clubs, and he’s kept his promise that it would be in hometown Vegas.

However, Vince has decided not to compete directly on the Strip and instead is building it for next year’s opening three miles west of the Strip at Sahara and Rainbow.

He opened his first Dr. Feelgood’s Rock Bar & Grill in downtown West Palm Beach, Fla., in January and said work on a second location would get under way within 12 months. (Here’s a video tour of the first bar in Florida as construction neared completion.)

Vince, my neighbor here in Vegas, told me: “It has been an incredible success, and we even started Motley Crue’s new world tour there for our opening night party. I’m very excited about having Dr. Feelgood in Vegas, and that’s where you’ll catch me hanging out when I’m home from the road.”

Vince told me the news over dinner at Strip House steakhouse in Planet Hollywood over the weekend. He said he’d just returned home to Vegas after being in Japan four days earlier, wrapping up another leg of the world tour. He and Motley Crue have a 10-year, mega-million-dollar deal with Live Nation to produce three new albums and complete five world tours.

He’s home through Thanksgiving, then takes off for his own solo band trip to Russia and other Eastern European countries before returning for Christmas. Vince confirmed that Motley Crue’s newest album, Saints of Los Angeles is a huge sales hit and that the group will do a second Crue Fest tour in America starting again in spring -- with a one-night stop in Vegas -- before going overseas again next fall!

“It’s a lot of fun touring the world but also very tiring. It’s real nice to be back. It would be real nice to just stay home and go to work and then return home at the end of the day. Now we’ll have a Dr. Feelgood in Vegas that might get to happen more often!” he told me. “It’s nonstop for now, though -- we just went right through Mexico, South America and Asia. The fans are fantastic still, and they even gave us a salute on all the huge screens at the Singapore Airport before we flew out!”

Vince’s partners include Bob Hewko, a former University of Florida quarterback, and Todd Wade, an offensive tackle who is currently a free agent but was most recently with the Jacksonville Jaguars.
