Rocker Maynard James Keenan, lead singer and co-founder of Tool, has popped his cork with a new line of wines that range up in price to a whopping $250 a bottle!

Maynard, who has also sung with A Perfect Circle and Puscifer brought his new wines to the Whole Foods Market in Henderson's Green Valley yesterday with his business partner, Arizona winemaker Eric Glomski.

Enthusiastic fans lined up around the building and down the street to purchase bottles from their three Arizona based wineries -- Caduceus Cellars, Merkin Vineyards and Arizona Stronghold. Maynard posed for photos and autographed the bottles that were big sellers even at $105 on upwards! Many of the fans left with a six-pack apiece!

Our contributing celebrity photographer Erik Kabik bought a bottle with George Lyons, host of the Lyons Den Radio show on our 91.5 KUNV radio station. They selected the $75 a bottle 2005 Caduceus Nagual de la Naga and popped it open right in the store at the Tapas bar.

Maynard is the latest rocker to enter the wine business -- our local Motley Crue frontman Vince Neil has his own line of Pinot Grigio whites that he imports from Italy.
