Vegas DeLuxe went on the record early in the new seventh season of Dancing With the Stars that model and TV host Brooke Burke would sweep the field to win the disco ball trophy. Now it appears that Steve Wynn’s oddsmaker agrees.
Johnny Avello, executive director of the Race & Sports Book at Wynn Las Vegas, has just released his odds for the latest season of ABC’s Dancing With the Stars.
Lance and Lacey, still safe to dance.
He says he opened Brooke at 7 to 1, and the current odds for her win are 9 to 5. Warren Sapp comes in second, he believes, going from an original 30 to 1 to 5 to 2. Johnny picks Lance Bass, who I think will place second, to place third, going from 5 to 1 to 4 to 1. Cody Linley, who has had to contend with a new partner in mid-show because of our Vegas Academy student Julianne Hough’s surgery, is now 10 to 1 after starting out 4 to 1. Last, but not least, is Maurice Green, who began at 15 to 1 and is now 12 to 1.
With more than 20 years of experience in the gaming industry, Avello’s predictions are derived from a combination of odds-making formulas, research and networking. Created for entertainment purposes only, his television show odds are continually featured on numerous television and radio programs, including Extra, Good Morning America and E! Entertainment’s The Daily 10. (Please note: These odds are for entertainment purposes only and are not wagered on.)
