Madonna and Lindsay’s memorable weekend in Sin City; plus, the ring mystery is solved

The Queen of Pop may well be 50 years old, but she struts her stuff like a buff 20-year-old. At her two MGM Grand Garden Arena concerts over the weekend, she had fans enthralled, including a solo Lindsay Lohan watching for the second time in the same week!

With about a dozen musicians and another dozen dancers backing her up, Madonna wowed fans with her massive 24-song set, which included piano top dancing, her vintage auto dancing and her leers and whip-cracking from the M Throne. She even strapped on an electric guitar.

Although she’d had Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake on stage Thursday in Los Angeles with her, concertgoers here had to make do with Justin on video accompanying her for the “4 Minutes” duet. They loved her anyway!

Tomorrow night, Madonna plays Denver for two nights, and then has stops in Houston, Detroit, Philadelphia, Atlantic City, Atlanta and Miami before Thanksgiving. Then she starts up the monthlong South American leg of the world tour with two sold-out shows in Mexico City on the last two days of November. The Sticky & Sweet Tour wraps up Dec. 21 after three sold-out shows in Sao Paulo, Brazil -- in time for her to get back to her Manhattan apartment for Christmas and New Year celebrations without estranged husband, British director Guy Ritchie.

In the meantime, Lindsay Lohan’s party at Pure nightclub in Caesars Palace was another huge success. Click HERE for our early morning Saturday coverage.

The Mean Girls actress hosted a special holiday collection fashion showcase for her new 6126 fashion line of leggings, and the money raised went to the Women’s Cancer Research Institute for ovarian cancer at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills. The sassy starlet was literally inseparable from her gal pal, DJ Samantha Ronson.

The twosome have never denied their relationship, and, whatever it is, they are “a couple.” Lindsay hugged, held hands and kissed her love partner openly. She even danced single-style with arms pumping in the air when Samantha played her new single “Bossy” from her third studio album Spirit in the Dark.

Way into the pre-dawn hours, Lindsay got on the mic and thanked everybody for coming -- and she handed out autographed leggings to the winners of the cancer raffle prize. In the DJ booth, she also thanked Caesars Palace’s Color salon owner, hair king Michael Boychuck, for tending to the tresses of her models. She also posed for photos with Pure’s VP of entertainment, Michael Greco.

Lindsay returned to Samantha’s DJ booth to dance to Britney Spears’ No. 1 hit “Womanizer.” At 2 a.m. Samantha’s two-hour guest DJ set ended, and the couple stayed side-by-side on the VIP bed until they left.

The next day, Samantha jetted off to Chicago for another nightclub DJ gig, so Lindsay had a late 3 p.m. sushi lunch at Iron Chef Kerry Simon’s new Palms Place restaurant accompanied by three guy friends. She ordered up California roll, cucumber roll and the popular crispy rice roll. Lindsay also returned to the Palms to join friends at 11 p.m. following the Madonna concert and after eating at Tao in The Venetian. (See that story in our Tao 3rd anniversary report on today’s Vegas DeLuxe HERE). Up in the Palms penthouse, she had Kerry serve up more midnight snacks for her pals.

Lindsay flew back home to Los Angeles on Sunday morning to meet up with Samantha, who was returning from Chicago.

And that snake ring on the center finger of her left hand with the different colored nail polish? Turns out it’s a commitment ring between Lindsay and Samantha. It has some Sapphic connotations, too, but I can’t get into that here!

How long their relationship will last is an unknown. One of her associates told me: “It’s just a phase she’s going through. They are very fond of each other, but she says she still likes boys, too. They’ve talked about a gay marriage similar to Ellen DeGeneres, but no date has been set.”
